Community is a recurring topic at Kulturschöpfer, especially in the times, we are living in. Last month we hosted the Split Open vernissage, opening an exhibition at the Green Hill Gallery that examines the nature of relationships, the importance of interaction, and the journey of self-discovery from different angles. In the universe depicted in the exhibition, lives are split apart, yet they complement each other thanks to their similarities and differences, showing the fullness and beauty of community.
The exhibition and our longing to experience community lead us to ask ourselves what community means for us at Kulturschöpfer, how has this changed over the last year, and what are ways of creating community and a sense of belonging now.
At a roundtable discussion on Wednesday, the 12th of May 2021, at 19:00, online via Zoom, we will try to address these questions during a relaxed conversation to reflect together on the topic of community and its meaning nowadays.
